William Charles Morse

September 22, 1945 — March 29, 2023

William Charles Morse was born September 22, 1945 in Dallas Texas to Mary Lee Lambert and J B Morse. On March 29, 2023 Charles went to be with the Lord at his home in Garland Texas after a long battle with COPD, heart disease and diabetes his body was worn out. Romans 8:18 For I consider that the suffering of this present time are not worth comparing with the glory that is to be revealed to us.

Charles is proceeded in death by his mother, Mary Lee Lambert, his father, J B Morse, his brother, Jody Mitchell, his sister, Shirley Morse Cooper, his brother, James Buford Morse and his sister, Barbara Jean Morse.

Charles is survived by his loving wife and lifelong friend, Della Gee Morse. Charles and Della would have celebrated their 60th anniversary April 12, 2023. He is also survived by his nephews and niece, Jason Byron Cooper, Alan, Cheryl, and Kevin Mitchell also his nephews and niece by marriage, Warren Scott Purifoy, Tina Harris Green, Ryan Keith Chatham and his sister-in-laws Wanda Dietel and Donna Chatham.

Charles worked for Dresser industries doing heat treat on industrial gas line pipes for many years.

Charles was a man's man that loved being outdoors doing things like hunting, fishing and camping. He was the happiest when doing those things, after his nephews and niece were old enough to take along he and Della turned to more family friendly camping, fishing and swimming outings. Uncle Charles and Aunt Della took them on many adventures with great memories for them all. When Charles become less able bodied he still loved the outdoors and watching wildlife so he and his dog Texas would ride around on their golf cart scouting out wildlife on their property every morning and evening.

Charles' family and friends will dearly miss him and his quick wit and fun loving personality. RIP

Inurnment will be held on Thursday, April 6th at 2:00 pm at New Hope Memorial Gardens.
