Wilma Jewel Anderson

Wilma JEWEL Anderson, born February 11, 1941, in Dexter, New Mexico, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family and friends on July 17, 2026, at the age of 85. She is remembered as a loving mother, grandmother and sister.

Jewell is survived by her daughter, Rhonda Mills; son, William (Billy) Anderson; grandchildren: Nathan Mills, Valarie Mills, and Jeremy Anderson; great-grandchildren: Lincoln Balboa, Nathan Kody Mills, Klayton Mills and Brinley Mills; brother, Mark Smith; sisters, Wanda Manning, Judy Landry, Linda Atchison, Elaine Goetze, Sandi Lawien, Karen Noble and Kathy Conrad.

Known for her vibrant and gracious spirit, Jewell enjoyed dancing and spending time with her family who will greatly miss her.

A burial service will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday, July 31 at the Houston National Cemetery. located at 10410 Veterans Memorial Dr. - Houston, TX 77038.

A Celebration of Life service will be held at New Hope Funeral Home , 505 E. Hwy 80, Sunnyvale, TX 75182, on Saturday, August 22 at 2:00 PM.
