Winnell Crenshaw, lovingly known to her family and friends as "Nell," passed away peacefully on the evening of Wednesday, May 20, 2026, in Sulphur Springs, Texas, at the age of 87.

Nell was born on December 1, 1938, in Lubbock, Texas, to Walter Kaufman Horn and Lavada Bell Horn.

She was a devoted and loving mother who treasured her family above all else. Throughout her life, Nell worked in many different positions, but the role she spoke of most fondly was her work as a binder at Deluxe Check Printing Company.

Nell enjoyed many hobbies and interests, including working puzzles, watching westerns, listening to music, and cooking. She had a special passion for decorating and once dreamed of becoming an interior designer. She took great pride in her home and yard, always making them warm and welcoming places for family and friends. Nell was known for her wonderful sense of humor, her love of laughter, and her kind and caring spirit. She was truly an amazing, loving, and God-fearing woman who touched the lives of many.

Nell is survived by her daughter Pam Vermillion and husband Randy; sons Tony McCullough and wife Reggie and Kelly McCullough and wife Shanda; ten grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and many beloved nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard "Dick" Crenshaw; her parents, Walter and Lavada Horn; her sisters, Alice Davis, Betty Wright, and Lucille Horn; her brothers, Durwood Horn and Johnny Horn; and her daughter, Tammy "Missy" McCullough.

Nell's love, laughter, and strength will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who knew and loved her.
