Yvette Crabtree Banks of Forney, TX passed away on April 13, 2022. Yvette was born on September 3, 1964, in Springfield, MO to Bobby Lee Crabtree and Carolyn Gilbert. Yvette married the love of her life Richard Lee Banks in Dallas, TX in 1991.
Yvette had a love for animals, especially dogs. She volunteered for DFW Pug Rescue, and Boston Terrier Rescue of North, TX. She also had a passion for collecting designer purses, and made it her goal to own everything that Coach, Kate Spade, and Michael Kors ever made.
Yvette was highly respected among her peers in the Mortgage Compliance field. As a member of the Texas Mortgage Bankers Association, she served on the Regulations and Compliance Committee, Industry Relations Committee, Community Lending Mortgage Association, Texas Mortgage Advocacy Committee, Membership Committee, and the Education Committee. She was also active with the Dallas Mortgage Bankers Association and served on the Advisory Board for the Northlake College Mortgage degree program. Yvette received multiple awards through her career such as Southwest Funding Circle of Excellence Award and the Presidents Circle Award.
Yvette is preceded in death by her father Bobby Lee Crabtree. She is survived by spouse Richard Lee Banks, Daughters: Tiffany Fuqua (Ryan) of Cleburne, TX and Taylor Allen (Tim) of Dallas, TX, grandchildren; Tatum and Brant Fuqua and Freddy Allen, mother; Carolyn Gilbert (Wallace Davis) sister; Kimberly Hays (Paul) and her beloved dogs; Eden, Fat Daddy, Jack, Jill and Whitney.
