Dana Leslie Haar

HAAR, Dana Leslie, born July 19, 1949 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, went to be with her Savior, The Lord Jesus Christ on Easter morning, April 24, 2011. Preceded in death by her parents, Charles Edward Robinson & Oleta Marie Robinson. Also preceded in death by her son, Steven "Craig" Haar;Linda Carol King and her son, Chad King; other family members, Robert (Bob) Edward Haar, Sr., Cecile Haar, Robert Edward (Bobby) Haar, Jr., Gary Haar; Michael Haar. Survived by her children, Robert Dwayne Haar and Jason Eugene Haar. Also survived by her daughters-in-law, Kimberly Marie Haar and Angela Marie Haar; grandchildren, Robert Wayne Cates &wife,Crissy Cates, Laura Elizabeth Haar-Malone & husband, Joel Malone, Jonathan Matthew Haar, Hunter Allen Haar, Corbin Chase Haar; great grandchildren, Grayson Michael Cates and Pearson Eli Cates; brother, Charles Michael Robinson; sister, Bonita Marie Barnhart; and other family members, Sherry Haar, Jennifer Haar Bohmer, Zachary Slack, Jackson Bohmer, Melvin& Diane Haar, Marguerite Boyd,Richard & Susan Cooper, Marvin Haar, Jimmy Haar, Gregory Haar, Randy & Barbara AnnEarly; numerous other nieces and nephews;and 5 beloved cats. Dana was a very caring and supportive mother and friend. She worked many long hours to support her 3 boys. Her optimism was admired by many and offered strength to her children. She worked over 20 years for the United States Postal Service and was admired by her fellow workers. She was always taking in a homeless cat regardless of condition or health. Dana was welcoming to all. She opened her heart and home to many. She will be missed. Service will be 2:00PM Thursday April 28, 2011 at New Hope Funeral Home, 500 E. Hwy. 80, Sunnyvale, TX. 75182. Family will receive friends at the funeral home Wednesday evening from 6:00PM " 8:00PM.
