New Hope Memorial Gardens

A brief history of New Hope Memorial Gardens….

In 2004, New Hope Funeral Home purchased more acreage adjacent to Long Creek Cemetery, which had its first recorded burial in 1855 and was certified from the Texas Historical Commission as a Historic Texas Cemetery. With this land acquisition, New Hope Funeral Home opened and dedicated New Hope Cemetery, also doing business as New Hope Memorial Gardens. Since 2004, New Hope offers complete funeral and memorial services, cremations, pre-arranged services in its beautiful and spacious 12,000 square foot funeral home, as well as offering an adjacent Cemetery for both traditional burials, cremation burials and above-ground cremation columbaria options. An experienced staff of highly skilled and compassionate funeral directors, funeral assistants and funeral ambassadors is available to help families during difficult times, as well as helping plan funerals in advance, or at the time of need. The original founders, the Ewing family, still own New Hope and are proud of the fact that since its inception, New Hope is still locally owned rather than being managed by a large corporation.

Making cemetery arrangements doesn’t have to feel overwhelming. Meet with our experienced team for guidance tailored to your needs.
