Cremation
Cremation Services We Provide
If your family has chosen cremation, we offer affordable services that help celebrate the life of your loved one while giving you several options for a public gathering, and a final resting place.
Traditional Funeral Service followed by Cremation
- Cremation with a traditional service means you are able to have a traditional funeral ceremony, with your loved one’s body present. This can include a viewing or visitation as well.
- This type of service requires some type of casket.
- Embalming and Dressing/Casketing of your loved one is required if viewing will take place.
- We have several caskets designed for cremation, which are much less expensive than their burial counterpart because they are constructed with the purpose of cremation in mind.
Cremation with a Visitation Only
- Cremation with visitation is similar to a cremation with a traditional service, but rather than a full ceremony, only a visitation or gathering time is held.
- A casket will still be required, as with the Traditional Ceremony option.
- Embalming and Dressing/Casketing of your loved one is required if viewing will take place.
Cremation with a Memorial Service
- Cremation with a Memorial Service is one where a ceremony is still held, but the body is not present. Therefore, a casket is not required.
- You may choose to have the urn present, or simply photos and flowers, or all of the above.
Cremation with a Memorial Visitation Only
- Similar to the Cremation with a Memorial Ceremony, the body is not present in this case.
- A Memorial Visitation means, rather than a full ceremony, a visitation with the urn, flowers, and photos is held.
Cremation with Private Family Viewing
- Cremation with a private family viewing means one with no ceremony or visitation is held, but a small group of the family can gather for a short time to view their loved one.
- A casket is not required.
- Embalming is not required unless circumstances with the remains demand it. If this is the case, you will be provided an explanation.
Direct Cremation
- Our simplest form of cremation, a basic cremation, as the name implies, involves no ceremony, no visitation, and no viewing.
- An Identification Viewing can be requested for a small additional fee.
For any of the options above, any of the options below can be selected for an additional fee for each:
- A burial of the cremated remains (inurnment) can be requested.
- Keepsake Jewelry that can contain or not contain a portion of the cremated remains.
- Your loved one’s fingerprint can be placed on many pieces.
